I have checked on imformation about defering state pension, I am due to receive it at 62 but as I will continue to work full time tax wise it would seem better to not claim until I retire as my total income will be below the tax threshold.
my question is will I still be entitled to the heating payment...providing its still being paid in 2 years time!

I think you will be entitled but it will not happen automatically as you are not receiving your Pension. You will have to apply for it.
