Best quality and cheapest vegetarian fish oils

Where can I buy the best quality fish oils but they must be vegetarian. Is is better to get the tablets or liquid form?

Presumably OP means "fish oils" as in the Omega 3s etc that occur in fish... you can get vegetarian "fish oil" capsules but they're obviously not called "fish oils" Typically, I think you'll be looking for flax seed oils or similar.

I can't think of anywhere off the top of my head but usually I'll look for supplements on Amazon and eBay. They're usually pretty good.

not familiar with the standard retail price so hard to tell if it's "cheap" or not but it seems reasonable.

If by 'fish oil' the poster means 'Omega-3 fatty acids' ignore Flax seeds (and Chia seeds). We're rubbish at converting plant ALA Omega-3 into EPA and DHA Omega-3, the stuff your likely looking for you'd need to take 20+ pills to equal one fish oil capsule.
You might want to consider algae Oil which is better but even that has very little EPA.

Fish oil is a 'blend' of nutrients and nothing but fish oil supplies that exact same blend. There is not a direct fish oil substitute - you need to look at specifically what extra nutrients your trying to get or what issues your trying to solve and go directly for that.

OK. I should have said omega oils. But hey everyone had a good laugh so no harm done. I was after the capsules without the gelatine etc. As in vegetarian capsules.

Eating fish keeps my granddad warm so he thought he would try the omega oils to see if it had the same effect. Sounds a bit odd but when you are old you get cold fast.

is what I use, its made from the algae that the fish eat to make them full of Omega 3. I also take the vit D advertised on the same page to help my calcium absorption.

All vegan, so definitely no gelatine!

Apparently the omega 3 oil in flax seeds is hard to get at, while the high level of omega 3s in chia seeds is much more accessible to humans, ref a book called Chia , it is available on amazon
