Can anyone recommend any restaurants near Pontins in Blackpool? Preferably restaurants that sell sea food, e.g. Fish & Chips etc as we're near the coast.

Also, not really familiar with Blackpool. Any recommended things to do?

Thanx

McDonalds do a fillet of fish, it is just up the road from the pleasure beach. :D

There isnt much down near pontins unless int he last few years they have built a little town down there. you need to head up in to Blackpool for anywhere to eat. Harry Ramsdens. or those little places on the prom what sell weird looking things in plastic pots that came out of shells yuk.

    stick to burgers

    Hi AMO,

As your thread is no longer on the front page of the I wanna board I've moved it over to the England board to see if you can get some more replies.

There's a sit-in chip shop on Squires Gate Lane (just round the corner from Pontins), on the next block going towards the prom there is a good cafe called The Dunes I think(recently changed ownership) that does lovely breakfasts (I often pop in there after my night shift).

Also next to the airport there is a pub called The Air Balloon that does very nice pub grub and is reasonably priced.
  • If you hop on a tram there's a seafood resaurant up North way called the Oyster Bar...fantastic seafood. We try and go once a month if we can
  • Just outside Pontins is a regular bus service(same side of the road as Pontins) that will take you into St Annes on Sea(10 minute bus journey tops).
There is a fab chippy there, next door to where they are building a M&S. Its eat in or take out and they do a lovely thick milkshake for the little ones(and big un's too as I love it!).
Lots of nice Bistro's and eateries round there too that do a nice set lunch, try Mamas Too, Tiggis etc The beach is nicer here too and there is an arcade, cinema, softplay etc on a place called Pleasure Island about a 5 minute walk from St Annes Square.
