    Hi

Sure appreciate all your advice so far, its been a great help, should have noted we have 2 kids as well!!

Am gonna take on board what everyone has suggested for regular outgoings but just wondering about the plastic, I was a fool had mentioned getting a dmp for the cards, how does that work and is it a good thing?

What would you guys do with the plastic if you were me (except rip them up already done it!). l mean to service the debt?

    Be grateful for anymore help!

    Thanks

    Hi again
As i said you really need to go along to your local CAB/money advice ASAP.
You may well have to wait for an appointment ie in our area appointments are end of May due to various factors.
Trust deed not way forward due to equity but there are other options.

to help spending on CC i suggest you put them in a bowl and freeze them

that why when you want to use them you have to let them defrost which by the way takes ages (i even used a hairdryer but still took to long lol) and you will find that by the time they have defrosted the urge to spend will have past

oops just read back to find that you cut them up lol
    ignore above :rotfl:

i would pay the minimum on all CC except the one with the highest APR and get that paid then go on to the next highest etc
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

If you are able to do any of the savings as already suggested by others, so that you have a bit extra each month to throw at your credit cards, go to https://www.whatsthecost.co.uk and do a snowball - you put all your cards, balances and aprs into it, how much you can afford to pay off them each month and it will then give you a debt free date.
