Try cooking a gammon joint which is what we had today, absolutely divine!

Do you add water to it when you cook it? Not cooked a joint in SC before.... I have one from M&S that has a glaze that you add onto it before you cook it..

  • Hi,

I've been reading for a while but thought it was about time to get involved!

Not sure if this is of help, but this is a UK website dedicated to Slow Cooking (metric measurements!), and provoking contribution / discussion / voting from others! There's quite a few recipes on there now, but would great to get some of you SC gurus involved in making it even better!!! It's also a lot easier to read/navigate than a 50 page forum thread. :j

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks

The site looks interesting - thanks.

If it is your own site, it might be worth contacting a Board Guide just to OK the link, so that your post doesn't get removed :)
  • I have just purchased a Morphy Richards slow cooker and I know I have seen various posts on this thread about cooking liver in a slow cooker, but I can't find them now. Can someone help and is it too late to put it on now?

We have just purchased a crock pot slow cooker and used it for the first time yesterday. We cooked pork stakes with veg and they were fantastic. I need some advice, I want to try cooking chicken breasts with a chicken tonight sauce, do I put jar of sauce over chicken at start or add later?
