Hearing aid wearers anyone?

Options
Thought i'd try on this board too.

I wear hearing aids and have noticed the molds become dis-coloured with ear wax, is there any way of getting rid of this dis colouration please :o. I clean them in water and mild detergent but it doesn't help :(.

Thanks

They harden with age too...I used to just wash mine in soapy water but now,my local hospital supply tiny moulds that slot into your ear and attach to any regular hearing aid, they are superb and because I have eczema these are a god send after 30 years of wearing aids.

The moulds looks like the temporary ones they used to issue you with and I am sure for the majority of people they work out well, though am sure the fitter said that not all could wear them...worth an ask tho as they stay nice and soft and east to clean and for me I can hear clearer

  • Thanks Bexxie90, Ive not heard of these before but i will have to ask.
Are they a standard size or do you need an ear mold taken?

    Thank you :)
