I have a bills account and a 'my account' I also have an emergency fund account with about £700 in it. It's one of those accounts that you need to give 30 days notice for (to stop me having an emergency clothes fix). I keep it there in case of major car problems or appliance breakdown etc. I think to myself at least I can borrow off mum to get things fixed and have the money to pay her back in 30 days.0

Hi there
You said this on your other thread
"Partner works long hours, is a service driver, should work 8hrs a today, but if wants bonus needs to complete all jobs on sheets. Ex today started at 5am but just rang to say wont be home till 3pm. Does not get paid overtime, only bonus depending on units per drop."
Personally this would have me looking for another job. Not getting paid anything for an extra 2 hours work? Also if driving is the main part of his job, he is getting close to the 12 hour rule too. Ie has to have 12 hours off between shifts.
Whilst I can understand that you can't get more work, have you thought about say doing online surveys, mystery shopping etc? Every little helps
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I have some online surveys sites booked and some mystery shopping ones, i guess at the moment im sceptial (sp?), wondering if it really makes much difference. I know i need to give it a try and find out though.
My partners job is a bit hard to understand, car wise where better off, i have the car for work. When he had his old job and we lived in our rented place, he had the car, but i could walk into work, so it didn't matter. We've now moved and i work between 2 school sites, so need the car. He has a company van so it suites us.
He gets quiet good bonus, its weird, but i'll try and explain, ie for tomorrow:
# of calls - 19 (36p per visit)
# of units on route - 134
credits towards weekly productivity - 138 (u add up each day then get average you'd get £40 bonus)
value on route - 6.84
He also gets £40 bonus per period of no sickness/absence, then £100 at year if no sickness/absence. So you can earn £40x13 = £520 plus the £100.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160
