Need help on an application :)

Hello,
I am applying for a job at a live music venue in Manchester and need advice on the application.
I don't want to waffle on, but I am worried I have got too much information in the application. The main points I need to address are that I have skills in marketing, music, and publishing. I spent a month working for a pr company in London, five months doing pr and publishing work for a magazine, and have a degree and passion for music (I currently teach violin and take an interest in new bands). I want to know roughly how many sides I should be writing. I've mentioned why I want the job and what skills I can apply. Also, the music scene is more diverse in Manchester, and I am looking to relocate.
I need help with the education section too. I don't know where to include the qualifications I have in violin and piano, and if it is also worth mentioning that I have had a CRB check.
Many thanks,
truly x

Is it an application form or a CV/cover letter that you need to send?
If it's a cover letter, one side of A4 is generally the accepted max. If it's an application form and you're allowed to include additional supporting info or a personal statement, there's no particular maximum, especially if there's a lot of points you need to address. Just bear in mind that there's no repetition, waffle etc. Clear and concise is always easier to read.
I'd include the music qualfications in the education - it's relevant in that it supports your passion/motivation/enthusiasm for a career related to music.
Wouldn't include CRB unless the job includes working with children or vulnerable adults. If it does, mention it but they'll still need to CRB you themselves. If it doesn't, just confirm you don't have a criminal record if asked to do so on the form.0
