Ocado just emailed me a single use coupon for 50% off their clearance items - which include a lot of washing powders and lots of pet food!! Perfect for what i needed.

They had Surf 50 wash box reduced to £5.09, so £2.55 after the coupon
Iams 3kg cat food reduced to £8.00 so £4.00 after coupon
Whiskers Fish Selection in Jelly - 6 cans £1.71 so 85p after coupon
Uncle Bens Long Grain Rice 2kg box - £3.47 so £1.73 after coupon
Lots of dry kitty food working out around 35p a box, Go Cat etc

I hadn't placed an order since starting the trial so unsure if this is an incentive to use the service or has just been sent to everyone on their mailing list?

I got this email as well and added loads of stuff to my order for tomorrow (doubling the price:eek:). Amazing how fast the wines and spirits went. This is my second delivery pass so not an incentive.

It was a promotion they were running back in July to get six months free trial, I don't think this is available anymore but worth checking their site.

Just stocked up on wine and beers .... at 30/50p a bottle of beer how could I resist. I did throw a loaf of bread in for good measure! So glad I am not the one who has to carry all that lot :beer:

got 6 bottles of good wine for about £3/4 a bottle and cider/lager for 50p a bottle. Also lots of washing stuff and cat food- fab!!!!

Not quite sure what happened with me:

ordered 20 boxes bold 2 in 1 tablets 24's lavender
20 bottles 1.4l lenor concentrate
10 bottles of flash floor cleaner liquid
15 bottles flash spray cleaner
20 boxes alpen light bars 5's.
1 bottle fruit juice(!)

Order total came to £75. About 20 mins later we decided to use the ipad ocado on the go to see if we could add to the order with one click additions(was worried about editing the order on the mac as
we thought it would go out of stock). By adding ONE extra flash spray, the total suddenly went to £24!!!!!!

So bill reads thus:

cost of goods £235.23
ocado delivery pass £0.00
Voucher -£130.20
Offer savings -£80.43
total charge - £24.60 :eek:


Spent about three hours trying to order stuff last night - most was out of stock. The iams which would have been £4 for 3kg would have been very handy with four hungry cats - that would have been as cheap as own brand asda cat dry food! also had budweiser 440ml cans £2 for 4 which with voucher would have been £1 for four cans. Sadly all alcohol seemed to be sold out!

Was also lucky enough to get a free tin of jubilee biscuits a few weeks ago as well!

Would anyone be offended with a xmas present at work off their manager of a hamper consisting of:

a box of detergent tablets
a bottle of fabric softener
a bottle of flash floor cleaner
a bottle of flash spray cleaner
a box of alpen light cereal bars.

All gift wrapped in an ocado carrier bag.
