Do bonuses get taken into account?

Hi,

Just wondered, when taking income/affordability into account for mortgage multiples do they take bonuses into account? My OH received a 5 thousand bonus this year and should expect something similiar each year.

    If its guaranteed then most lenders will take 100% of it into account

    If it is not guaranteed, then depending on which lender you go to, they will take various amounts of the bonus into account - some may take 50% and some may take 100%

    No expert on this but I recenty went along to see a Brittania adviser with someone and they took it into consideration, not sure how others would view this
