Creating your own site - WeBid Script?!

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with WeBid script for creating an auction template..? Is it any good? Fairly easy to use or do you need some basic script knowledge?
It's just an idea in the pipeline and wanted to ask around first - not planning on competing with eBay just yet
