I ordered a CK owl pendant from Amazon last year, and I think it did come with (not in) a gift box - one of those flat-pack cardboard ones with tissue paper to wrap round. You had to do the building and scrunching yourself, though - if you were going to send it as a gift you might want to have it delivered to self first.
