Like all tickets issued in retail car parks they have no legal standing, the words on the ticket are meant to look official but are just an "invitation to pay" and can be filed in the B1N.

IGNORE ALL CONTACT, I have researched this well. waiting for my letters to come, I will keep them for the laugh to show friends and family. LOL LOL. Tickets made to look official. Therefore they rely on a percentage of people to pay for nothing. £90.00 you see first on the ticket then WOOOOOPIE if you pay within 14 days only £60.00 a lot of people will fall into the psycological trap LESS TO PAY, great I will pay it now and save £30.00. These people are brilliant in their approach, have it off to a tee. Nearly caught me, only for a passer by informing me of not to pay and go to this site.

    Grey area.
If they try and make out you have broken the law or intimidate you into paying, or pretend that they are issuing a ticket, they are probably breaking some law or other.
But simply inviting you to pay a charge isn't a crime. Neither is ignoring that invitation... :)

From what I've read, some of these companies step well over the mark of what is acceptable, however.
