Hi
I am coming to edinburgh at the beginning of may for a few days and I'm looking for moneysaving ways of seeing the sites etc
I used clubcard vouchers to get entrance into edinburgh dungeons.
Any tips for cheaper entrance into zoo, witchery tour etc
Also cheap places to eat etc
Any help much appreciated.

Hi Kitty,
an idea of your age and interests may help with recommendations.
If you're into modern art you can't miss the Dean Gallery & the Museum of Modern Art in Belford Road, they're both free. Most galleries & museums are free unless they have a special exhibition on.
Try and get yourself a copy of The List magazine to see what's happening while you're hear and they have an excellent online restaurant guide too.
You can type in the days you're visiting, what you're interested in at https://www.list.co.uk and it will list everything that's on.
Cheers

How did you get on with the visit? It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

Had a great time thanks Bextech
We ended up staying in fife with my family for the whole visit but we did edinburgh zoo on the wednesday and then on the thursday we spent the whole day in edinburgh.
we did edinburgh dungeon first (free with clubcard vouchers) not my cup of tea but oh loved it. then basically walked about 8 miles round edinburgh - up the royal mile, round the grassmarket, down by holyrood palace then back up to princes street.
we ended up the evening in spaghetti (our fav restaurant in edinburgh)
all and all (with the exception of heaving rain lol) a brilliant time.0
