hi we've got a game called "don't wake the chicken" is it the same thing ? the main piece looks like a hen with open wings and you put thingies in it and take them out one by one and the wings sort of snap shut ? if its the same i'll get the instructions out and copy them into word and email them you if you like ?
*edit* reading back doesn't sound like same game .......... damn chickens lol
Thanks for the offer, I do appreciate it, but it isn't the same game....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

sorry i can't help, must be very frustrating for your little lad (and you), looks like the charity shop may be getting a donation !mustn't grumble :cool:0

Just an idea.... go on ebay and find someone selling the game. Send them a question/e-mail asking how do you play it and can they scan and send the instructions. I am sure most people will be more than willing to help you out. Or, you could call toys r us and see if they sell it. If they do, go and have a read of the box!0

The chicken has a button underneath it which makes it cluck when it's pushed in.
I think I'm going to email someone who's selling one on ebay and see if they can help....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

we've got this game, i'll go and look at the instructions- they're around here somewhere
DD says that you have to put the chicken on the base, put the eggs around the nest and pick the eggs up one by pne, if the chicken makes a noise you're out

LLL- Thank you so much!
This is how we thought it worked, but the chicken doesn't cluck even when all the eggs are removed. So unless there is something we are doing wrong, I think we may have a faulty chicken....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
