Admitting what I have is debt

I know some peoples debts are far bigger and scarier than mine, but I really want to try and stop it right here now before it gets too far. I am a student and have two debts really, about 1000 pounds owed to my boyfriend (which I know doesn't have interest and so a less important debt, but it's putting a strain on the relationship a bit) and I am £490.56 in my overdraft (limit is £900)
I get a bursary every month of about 330 pounds, but that's nearly the price of my rent so I cross those two off if that makes sense. I also get 200 pounds a month from my parents and a loan of 700 or so every term.
I try not to spend too much on food but I'm trying to eat healthier and spent 30 pounds yesterday on shopping, mostly lunchbox type things that'll last the whole month, so I'll hopefully only spend 15 pound or so the next few weeks.
I have a gym membership from that pruhealth deal for 15.50, but I see this as quite good value as I go every other day at least.
I try to cut down on spending but am finding it really hard. I'm suffering with depression and think that I kind of "comfort shop" This is made worse by the fact I have literally zero money to shop with making me more depressed. I don't know how anyone manages to cut down so drastically, and I just feel I'll never have + money before I finish been a student. I don't have many friends who want to socialise with me and find myself often wondering around town on my own just so I don't feel lonely. By posting here I guess I'm trying to tell myself I have to stop spending more because I have no money at the moment.

It doesn't matter if its £1000 or £10000, debt is debt and is no less important because its smaller than another persons. Its all relative to the person.
Sorry to hear about how you feel, its not easy having something hang over you. The only advice i can give is to really think about things that make you happy or at least you enjoy doing, that dont involve spending money. Its quite hard as i've found to do that as alot of things considered fun are costly and there seems to be people everywhere wanting to take you for all you've got. It isnt the case however, its just that the takers are more promenant.0 -
Have you reclaimed any bank charges?
You can also make £1,500 quite easily via matched betting http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=41 . (Read the warning threads (things that can go wrong),and newbie thread etc at least five times.) .
Alternatively, if you post your SOA & etc the experts here can have a look.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I wouldn't recommend the match betting unless you knew what you were doing.
Seriously though, put your SOA up and those who can give you the best advice will, everyone else will support you, me included. Oh and for cheap feeding alternative i have a daily thread going where i am feeding myself and 2 sometimes 3 children a day for under £219th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0
