Has anyone seen any unbasted frozen turkeys?

Our local Tesco now has a freezer full of frozen turkeys but they’re all Ready Basted, which we loathe. (Far too salty for us.) Lidl was the same. Has anyone seen any un-basted frozen turkeys in other supermarkets?

I’m looking for a smallish one (3 or 4 kg) & don’t really want to have to buy a fresh one just to avoid the "gloop"!

ETA. Anyone know how I can edit the typo in the heading? I'm not expecting anyone to have seen any "turleys"!

Co-Op frozen Turkeys aren't basted and they're higher welfare than the others you mentioned :)

I don't think the frozen ones in Aldi at £9.99 each (weight approx 4 kilos) are basted.

Sainsburys is doing free range frozen Taste the Difference turkeys at £18 for approximately 3.9Kg and approx 5Kg for £24. I had a frozen one a couple of years ago and it was fine. HTH.
  • Hi, the Co-operative British Elmwood Whole Frozen Turkey has just won the Good Housekeeping Tried & Tested award this year, and is not basted!

Morrisons were runner up with their M Frozen Free Range Bronze Whole Turkey, also not basted.
