Thank You Card Help?

I would like to make some thank you cards for relatives and friends who have really gone way above and beyond in helping us lately with our expected arrival.
The help we have had has been amazing and I don't know where we would be now if people hadn't been so kind and generous.
I don't just want to do a bog standard thank you though because it just doesn't seem enough, I would like to add just a little something to show the effort I have gone to in order to show how much we appreciate their help.
I think making them would be cheaper than buying some pre made thank you's but also I think they are appreciated a lot more.
I have seen the thank you cards where people put a tea bag in and I really like this idea, I wondered if there were any other things I could do similar? It has to be light though as I can only afford to send them with a 2nd class stamp so will have to be careful about size and weight.
Also does anyone know of a poem or something I could use?
Thank you in advance.

If its a thank you for helping out with your little one, why not pop a nice photo of baby in the card as a keepsake? You can pick up frame cards pretty cheap.
Been looking for cards and how about something like this one... Looks simple enough and baby related

I've just come home from hospital after a 3 month stay. Instead of thank you cards I got some red wooden thank you hearts that can be hung up and wrote a message on the back. It was this style but thank you
