Ihave started making my own pies (well sort of) I buy a bigger chicken than normal for a sunday roast then the next day make a chicken pie. i buy the pastry (i am not a good pastry maker) and use a tin of cambells condesed soup usually cream of chicken or whatever its called and it tastes absolutly gorgeous. better than any bought pie.Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts0

Do you have a food processor? I make all my pastry in the processor and it comes out brilliantly.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Me too, I can't make good pastry by hand but it's fine in the food processor so long as you do it quickly. If I want flaky(ish) pastry, I leave the butter in small pieces and whizz in some water, then roll and fold. Not proper flaky but good enough!0
