Natwest new mortgage application help

Hiya I received the following message from natwest re our mortgage application, I am a bit confused re the 1st applicant part:
Your mortgage has been agreed subject to:1st Applicant: A Homebuyers Report which we will arrange with our panel.
I rang natwest and they said the '1st applicant part' is simply addressing the text message and they don't need anything else from me (the 1st applicant) but my boyfriend received the same text!
Has anyone had the same text and can confirm? Natwest have been a complete pain in the bum so don't trust everything I'm told!!

Hardly use Natwest these days, but I believe they are just saying they are happy subject to survey - I think this should be viewed as good news...I am a Mortgage Broker
