Britannia Mortgages

Recently been refused a mortgage due to incorrect default still on my equifax report, succesfully removed from experian. In the process of getting it removed from equifax.
However, seen on another thread that Britannia only use experian? Yet their terms state that they dont accept any applicants who have been refused a mortgage? I was under the impression that mortgage applications only came up as a 'search' on your credit report and not as a 'decline'?
If anyone can shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks Everyone!

Yes that is correct. They only search experian for mortgages so if your experian credit file is great then no reason why they wouldn't accept you.
A single search and a single decline will not affect your chances. Too many searches in a very short space of time will though.0
