Present for 18 year old boy

Please help! I have only one person left to buy for...my 18 year old baby brother.
I have asked him multiple times and he has no idea what he wants. He can't even suggest any DVDs or gig tickets or anything.
It was recently his birthday and my sister and I clubbed together and got him a very nice 'grown up' watch, but he wouldn't really wear any other jewellery type stuff so that's out.
Last year I got him his first 'grown up' aftershave but I asked him if he wants something similar and he said he is ok for aftershave at the moment.
He is very good at science and maths but isn't really a 'geek'. He plays guitar in a band but has all guitar related equipment he could want. He is not into football but he does run (did his first marathon a week after turning 18), but again I think he has everything he needs for that. He is recently single for the first time since he was about 13. He is not into computer games of any sort.
I am COMPLETELY stuck! My budget is up to £50 but I'd rather spend about £30. I was thinking of doing him a stocking of bits and pieces as I think my mum is not doing us stockings for the first time this year (yes I still got a stocking up to my mid twenties!) but even then, once I've thought of shower gel, chocolate and something alcohol related, I get stuck.
Please, does anyone have any inspiration to buy for someone who can't even think of anything he wants himself?! I want it to be something physical for him to open at Christmas, so not vouchers or anything.
Thanks in advance for any genius ideas!

Does he have any gadgets, like iPhone iPad etc? You could get a case or accessories for one of those if he does.0

Are you not babying him a little bit? i know he's your baby brother, but he's not a baby! talking about 'grown up' aftershave and a 'grown up' watch? Give him a voucher for a clothes shop/cinema vouchers that he likes with a box of chocolates/wine gift set/spirit gift set so he's got something to unwrap.0

I gave my 18yr old DS 2 tickets for comedy club in manchester. He took his brother and they had really good night out week after christmas.0

The title caught me out, 18 year old boy - he's a grown man.

I'd completely abandon the stocking idea, get him the Muse cd (2nd Law) and a T-shirt.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

how about an Odeon cinema voucher for him +1 and £15 in cash for either popcorn/snax or a beer after ?"A wise mum remembers her friends at all times, a foolish mum, only when she has need of them..."0

What does he do? Is he working or at college or sixth form? If it's the last is he wanting to go to Uni? If so could you get him something for that eg student cookbook.0

having 3 teenagers myself my son at 17 is borderline grown up, he may be taller than me but is at his most vulnerable in life with college ending this year and the current job market being non existent for a whole generation doomed to being bored at home as there are so few jobs and having no interest in continuing onto university and debt, that aside i totally get the whole grown up watch thing , as your brother is new to running and marathons etc how about buying him a different sort of watch, just like jewellery men like to own a few watches. My son has a silver work type watch, a gold dress watch, a brown leather chronograph casual watch and a casio g sports watch. As he is into running the casio watches come in at under £50 and have timers and stopwatches for timing his running and are waterproof and shockproof. For a cheaper option try a sports chain such as sports soccer or similar and get him a pair of running trainers, or a gym bag with water bottle, towel, socks, sweatband. Or a spare pair of sweatpants. However tbh I would head somewhere like tkmaxx and buy him a new luxury bathrobe, its always nice to get a new one or a decent quality leather washbag . I do think places like Costa, Subway and Domino Pizza could make an absolute fortune selling gift vouchers theyre missing out on a gold mine. My son would LOVE to get a handful of vouchers for these places0

Bathrobe sounds good, perhaps some kind of luggage, travel bag, wash bag, electric shaver? When I was growing up my father would always tell me that my best friend was my pocket!0
