I have just tried to renew my card as it said that it can be renewd from today at 25% discount but the code isn't working has anybody else tried?

If you check the original post you'll see that it was APRIL.

Offer has most probably finished by now

I THINk I WORKED OUT HOW TO MAKE THE DISCOUNT CODE WORK WHEN RENEWING THE FREE RAILCARDS


Just been checking out whether the code will work with me. I think the discount code only works if you got one of the free railcards

Go to www.family-railcard.co.uk

Clcik on "Buy Card Now" then sign in using email and password used when ordering the original card

Don't click on renew railcard - it comes up with an error message saying " could not find railcard with entered card number

Instead click on "UPDATE PROFILE/PURCHASE RAILCARD"

Enter DAILYM15 in the promotional code box and click on Sumbit at the bottom of the page
Enter the details for the second card holder and click submit again

It will come up with a summary of the changes - notice in the promotional code bit it says you will get 0% discount on the regular railcard price - ignore this and press submit.

The next page details the amount you pay which miraculously is £15 so the discount has been applied even if it didn't say so earlier.

I hope this helps. I reckon they have made renewal using the code so difficult they hope people won't bother trying to work out how to do it

Have managed to order it now but when I was trying earlier it kept saying incorrect promotion code they probably hadn't updated the system to accept the code earlier
