Hi,
I was wondering if there were any grants available to Landlords in NI to help improve insulation?
Thanks in advance.

I was looking for these too but as I earn slightly more and am on no benefits there is nothing available to me which is frustrating as I work hard for my cash.....0

Thanks Angel, the only way I would be eligible for this is if I rented the house out to a person on benefits, then they could claim for it.0

Or perhaps you do what every other business should do and pay for your own business improvements. You'll get to offset it against your mortgage interest. I wish us non BTLers were so lucky.0 -

Then you offset the cost against tax on your profit like any other business.
You will no doubt be paying tax on the profit received... the improvement costs (i.e. insulation paid for by the business, not the tax payer) will be taken from your profit and reduce your tax liability.0 -
Powerni have a scheme you could check out, but once again, it depends on income level http://powerni.co.uk/saving-energy/insulation/free-insulation/0
