been thinking about milk today- bought semi skimmed from Aldi-£1-whole milk is the same price. So I'm thinking, is it better to buy whole and then dilute a bit-obviously SS has fat removed but the volume must be made up by something else-water maybe? So I'm thinking buy whole and dilute a little=more milk for the same amount of money-what do others think?
Just wondered if anyone had any input on this?A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Somebody mentioned watering full fat milk down. Can that be done? And if so, to what ratio?Saving for overseas vacation

I've never done it but think watering milk down would only be in an emergency if you were running out.
What about mixing with some '5 pints', powdered milk.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I use powdered milk regularly, when I'm cooking - very economical :money::rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

I always water mine down whenever its running low, really cannot tell you how much water I add cos I just stick it under the tap.. but it always turns out ok, DH & DS have never noticed, which is a miracle as DH will only ever have whole milk as he thinks semi skimmed tastes like water! lol xOctober grocery Challenge
