I have an idea to make this a lot easier to collate.
Why are people using E 24/12 in titles?
All advents end the same time we know that, but not all comps ending 24/12 are advents.
So why not simply put ADVENT in advent comp post titles instead of the date format so whoever is putting this thread together can find them in one easy search and tick them off as they put them here?
ADVENT2012 maybe to make it obvious it's this year.

ADVENTS all finish the same time, and those few that are 12 days long just need expiring when over...

The word ADVENT first in the title would make it cake to search them either way...with or without end date. We might not even need an advent thread at all if search throws them up :)

Maybe i'm seeing different advents to you but alot of them vary in terms of end date.. The system already in place is working fine (to my knowledge) thanks so much bargainhuntergal :A and to everyone for your input on this thread..

Surely it would complicate things even more to change everything to a new system.. People could always include the word ADVENT in their titles but use the same format as for example:

    E: 24/12 CURRYS ADVENT (OPENS 5th DEC)

Just putting my two pence in ;)
I smile because I have absolutely no idea what's going on
