Today, for the 8th day in a row, I will be sitting on my sofa, barking like a dog and hawking up bits of lung, feeling sorry for myself. How long can this go on for?
At least it's saving me money. Total spend this week £6.85 on a prescription for antibiotics. And since I haven't eaten for a week, I've saved money and lost half a stone too!
I am fed up though :(

    Today I have/will do....

Been to Tesco and stuck to the list and only spent £10.22!
Will do 3 loads of washing and dry on the line
Will clean the house this morning using the ends of the bottles of cleaning stuff rather than buying new
Found a 20 Euro note in the drawer and changed it back to Sterling in Tescos and got an unexpected windfall of £13.22
Am using up food in the cupboards and freezer for lunch and tea before starting on the new stuff!

All of this will be slightly undone by having my haircut and coloured this afternoon - have a very attractive grey stripe at the moment that needs urgent attention!!
  • - I'm (hopefully) having a NSD
    - Lunch and tea from cupboards/freezer
    - Drying clothes on airer (I have no washing line anymore, I have an 8' trampoline instead! lol)
    - Got my stepdad to mend my heating this morning for free :-)
    - Playing the cds I got free with my nectar points!
    - Have listed a book on amazon and will be updating all the ones that ran out later on
:D GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN :D

And not such much MSE but giving my 16 year old a really sound bollocking for coming home drunk last night followed up with a "you're grounded for two weeks and you have just kissed goodbye to your allowance too" speech.

Cutting off his allowance sounds money saving to me!

I have been saving money this morning by staying in bed! Went out for dinner and a few beers with my Mum last night... she paid for everything because she knows how skint I am... even paid for my taxi home. Bless her.

I will be pottering round the garden today seeing as it is so lovely here. OH is travelling back from Wales today - he took the car which has stopped me just randomly going out and spending money.... need to get some milk at some point though... I wonder if anyone round here keeps a cow in their back garden...
