Ok, aside from the humour above you should genuinely not worry.
There is nothing so far that you have shared that is going to worry Halifax. Obviously if there is anything more sinister in your case that we are not aware of, then the comment may be difficult.
On a side note Conrad, what motivation is there for me to give unsophisticated opinion given an unquestionable level of experience?
Maybe you see more declined cases than the rest of us, hence the faux negativityI am a Mortgage Broker

Just to throw spanner in the works, we are currently pregnant and expecting baby april next year, MA advised us not to tell the mortgage company about this as we dont yet have a dependant and i wont be on maternity leave for some time.
But looking at my 'final mortgage quote' i see that they can contact my work for a reference & would hate for them to be advised i am pregnant as I have had to tell work....
Thoughts on this??
thanks again to all of you for your advice.0 -
Bottom line here is you should tell them. If you do not, then you will need to worry that they will check.
Again, it is unlikely they will check but that is not really a good enough reason for not telling them.
Good luckI am a Mortgage Broker
