Morrisons Pay at Pump don't accept Natwest?
Comments

I used to be able to pay at pump at Morrisons (coop bank card), really handy as I'm disabled and sometimes I need fuel but haven't got the spoons to fill up *and* walk to the kiosk and back, but now I can't. All it means is I fill up less at Morrisons...We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

My current account from Natwest starts at 4751, with an overdraft and everything. I'm sure I've used it for offline payments...
4751 is not the critical number, its the next number being 7 or 8. Mine is followed by a 9. I think 7 or 8 dictates a previous card being a Solo a\c, which is the key factor.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I think this topic must have been covered on MSE at least 100 times over by now.
Only the Purple Natwest card works at pay at the Pump.
Only the Dark blue RBS card works at pay at the pump.0 -
We have a basic Natwest account with a debit card that we use for shopping and petrol and no, you cannot use it to pay at the pump. It's been that way for the past 3 years at least, and in the last year, they have stopped access to many cashpoint machines too, something to do with the account being free and the cost of using other banks' machines etc etc. These accounts can be quite limiting, that's why we have it!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0

The worst part is that Natwest themselves don't know this, so when you try asking if you can upgrade they just tell you that your card is the same and that the pay at pump machine must be broken.

Of course Natwest are aware of it, as post #3 correctly describes, as it is taken directly from Natwest's very own T&C from their website.
Clearly, only some of NatWest staff are aware of it if others are providing spurious information such as 'pump machine must be broken'.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Possibly one or two members of staff are not aware of it, but quite clearly Natwest themselves are very aware of it, else they would not have mentioned it on their own website.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

So where does 'Natwest staff' end and 'Natwest themselves' begin?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
