hi our mortgage finishes in 4 yrs we need some extra cash to pay off debts and diy on the house we need to borrow quite a lot and being indebt my husband does not know my credit rating is not very good. i dont think we would be able to get a further advance with the halifax but would it pay us to remorgage and extend the years for the debt our mortgage is 47500 we would need to borrow 80,000. would i have to tell them i am in debt i pay a monthly fee through the cccs. my husband is self employed. we have never faulted on our mortgage.
