I'm after some ground fenugreek (not leaves) and was wondering if I could challenge people to see if they know anywhere that sells this a bit cheaper than what the supermarkets sell it for.
Cheapest so for I have found is in Tesco though this offer is 2 for £2 and I really only want one jar for the time being.
TIA

Any local Asian grocer type shop you have should sort you out.0

What;s wrong with grinding the leaves yourself ? ASDA sells the leaves dried and fresh.0

Thanks Edwardia, I never thought of that. Ground might be better for convenience though how difficult is grinding dried leaves. May consider that option considering the leaves are only 67p at ASDA.
I'll see what's on offer in local Asian shops as well. Did actually think of this before posting though was open to other suggestions.
Thanks for all suggestions.0 -
How about 99p for 60g?

It will be better to tell one shop where we will get all home products.0

Do you have a B&M ,it`s what I think of as a store between "wilkos" and "pound shop" they sell short dated or manufacturer sell offs,I picked up two huge jars in there last year, and wouldn`t dream of going anywhere else for some items,"Pataks" curry sauce tins are always 49p for example.Do I need it or just want it.0

Nearest B&M is just over 14 miles from where I live unfortunately.
Just discovered that fenugreek is also know as methi. Tesco sell Indus Methi Seeds (400g) for £1.29 (32.3p/100g).
I didn't really want to get this much initially as I wasn't sure I'd use it all. As it's not too expensive I'll see if I can get the Indus Methi Seeds and grind them using my pestle and mortar; 'bout time I started to use this as I've had it for ages and never actual got round to using it.
Thanks for all the suggestions once again. Most appreciated.0
