Remortgage while on DMP

Hi all,
Been on a DMP for just over a year now and all going okay. Our mortgage with GE Money is on an interest rate of about 6.5% interest and costs us nearly £1,000 per month. If only we could remortgage to a lower rate we could save a few hundred pound per month. Any ideas where we could go to as GE Money no longer offer mortgages ? I have tried one or two companies and even been via Payplan but everyone just says no chance :-(
Kind regards,
Andy.

It's unlikely you'll find anyone else to lend to you.
You could order all three of your credit files and take them along to a meeting with an independent or whole market broker to see what options you might have.I am a mortgage broker. As Kingstreet says, it will depend upon how the creditors have marked your credit files.
Assuming they have defaulted you and you have not satisfied the default, it is incredibly unlikely you will achieve finance...
Is it just you, or do you have OH. If so are both on DMP?I am a Mortgage Broker
