Myself and my partner are looking to purchase a rental property as an investment.
We have an excellent deposit (over 100k) but may need to raise an extra 30k or so to get the type of property we are after.
We currently rent so dont own a property and are keen to find the cheapest option available to us.
Any advice MSE?
First time poster.....be nice!

You do not own a property but thinking of buying property to let. Most of the lenders would not lend on this basis alone.
You need a broker as most BTL deals are done through brokers.0 -
We currently rent a property and are happy with the arrangment, cost etc but want to buy somewhere to rent to increase our income and return.
A broker? thanks for the advice, didn't know that banks would want us to own a property to begin with.0
