Stocking fillers from $1 stores whilst on holidays

I notice Christmas threads starting to creep in
so I thought I'd share with you what I've done for past couple of years re stocking fillers.
We have been lucky enough over past 2 years to holiday in the States and Cananda. From $1 shop in Florida,I found Barbie clothes and small Disney related items, Canada I found even better with loads of Dora the explorer and Sponge Bob stuff. I have bought things like hair bobbles and bouncy balls. The exchange rate makes the items cost less then £1.
Also my son has a name that is favoured by Americans but not as popular here, so I can never buy anything personalised for him. Father Christmas always manages to find notepads/pencils/toothbrushes with his name on.:D

This is a great idea, I spend a alot of time in Germany and often bring odd things back that I can't find here or that are expensive. My latest purchase was silicon baking forms, sensible ones like loaf tins and some more exotic shapes like those fancy castle shapes! I paid six euros for a 21 cm ring cake mould, for example. And I could fold them up and stuff them in my hand luggage!:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0
