Default Successfully removed on experian, still on eqifax :S?

Hello

Just appealed our mortgage rejection after noticing an incorrect vrigin media default on my account. Been to hell & back with virgin to get it removed and finally they did!

However, just had our appeal rejected and the Bs asked us to obtain our reports so ive signed up for equifax incase of any discreprancies and found the default is still reguistered on it

i was under the impression that virgin media told a credit agency about the removal of the default and equifax and experian would both remove it :(?

Any advice anyone? Equifax wont let me dispute it as they say theres a fault with my email address/password

Many Thanks Everyone

Ask Virgin to ensure they inform all three CRAs.

I have and virgin media assured me they've sent emails to eqifax. Theyve sent another to them today asking it to be removed within 48hrs

Is it common for them to not remove them on time or at all?

    many Thanks
  • You can request Equifax to remove it as well by copying any evidence from Virgin to show their approval of this. To request this directly go to (Equifax Help).

Hopefully with you and Virgin requesting together the matter might resolve quicker. However they make upto a week to correct this issue.
