Does anyone know where I can buy a gas ring reducer for my coffee pot? I thought I might able to buy one in a high street store but as yet I haven’t had much luck.

Or something similar.
Thanks

Got a Truka diffuser from John Lewis also seen in a couple of London cookshops like Pages and Cookery Nook. Perfect for slow/low cooking. Amazon got them too

I managed to find a couple of online stores that sell the type I mentioned above. A company called Auravita sell these for £1.69 but they have a delivery price of £1.66 that’s £3.62 altogether or there’s Cooking Time who sell them for £2.99 with no delivery price. I may buy it from Cooking Time unless I find one cheaper elsewhere or if someone else has any other suggestions.
Thanks for your help0 -
I use this and its relatively cheap, I think you can also get cashback for going through quidco, but not sure how they work out how much.

I use one of these for when I make a chilli con carne so it can simmer really low for about 4 hours, they come out fantastic

debenhams do a similar diffuser ring for £6.99 in their cookware department to the one that john lewis stock http://www.amazon.co.uk/Truka-Heat-Diffuser-Large/dp/B000LCPCU0
The first time i used it i thought it was going to burn!! It smkoed for a while and stunk out the kitchen, However, i phoned the company who advised me that it was just the finishing oil burning off from the product and to wipe with a damp cloth. All is well. It's a great item to have in the kitchen for slow cooking!Everything in life is a paradox. The more you want approval, the more you become a person that other people don't want to approve of, the less you care about whether you get approval, the more you get.:A0
