And the worst offenders are RBS and Lloyds, the two banks owned by us, who are withdrawing access to cash machines for basic bank account holders

I have the RBS basic account and can only use RBS cashpoints, Ulster bank or Natwest. So far to date I haven't seen an Ulsterbank anywhere in the mainland UK. Our nearest cashpoint is 5 miles at the psot office, when it is open, otherwise it's nine miles to a natwest, if thats not working then its 17 to the RBS at Morissons.
They had recently moved us or were preparing to move us to Santander, that wasn't managed very well though and the deal has fallen through. Donkies! :TBankruptcy and Supporters club... Member 340.

My dd has a basic bank account with Lloyds and she can use all cashpoints, is this going to come in then that she won't be able to? She did think about getting their one step up account but the surcharge for iphone cover made it not viable, it covered all other posh phones at no surcharge so that didn't make sense to us."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.
