what about snack stuff? Crackers, jar of pate, crisps, sweets?

Also you get packets of microwaveable rice/pasta.

  • sorry i should of made myself clearer i want to cook meals up for them so they can freeze them and have proper meals not ready meals. they both buy ready meals now so i want them proper food
  • Think of anything you'd batch cook and freeze. These will make a good basis as these can be frozen and kept for longer than a week. So good old fashioned stews, soups, chillis and currys (if they eat those).

You can then have some fresher ones. I'm thinking roast dinners, or home made filled yorkshire puddings.

You can also make some reheatable deserts such as crumble and custard or rice pudding

  • To make them look a bit nicer you could buy some nice kitchen/food labels. Maybe ones like this one or this one or get some nice tupperware from Lakeland (or Poundland!) and decorate with cellophane and ribbon.
  • What about Mince and tatties, Chilli con Carne, Spag Bol, Stew, Curry, Thai Green curry, Stirfry, Pasta Dishes. hope tht Helps :) xx
