My cost of living has risen recently by approx 12%. Everything seems to be going up in price.

The things I can control e.g. the grocery bill, I reduce. I break it down into essentials, cat stuff, household/toiletries, and luxuries. I shop around and use mysupermarket to see where stuff is cheapest, and I cook pretty much everything from scratch using value/smartprice products. I have a spreadsheet where I log every single penny I spend. I've also become quite a fanatic about electric and gas usage. We do have a fair bit of spare income each month but I'm aiming on freeing up even more as prices continue to rise."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000
