The days of me putting the world to rights at the expense of someone's feeling are well and truelly gone. I'm more compelled to help and support even though everyone knows I don't agree with the situation.

Pops and I are poles apart in every way but both of us need this thread for the very same reasons - camaraderie, support, knowledge, let the feelings out and a laugh. The last time I got all upright an righteous we lost 2 posters, only just getting one back this past week.

Its not fair on anyone when harsh views are expressed... I learned that the hard way and at the expense of other people's right for a harmonious support group.

Popperwell - please don't feel you need to justify your number of rooms etc any more. You've been through that discussion on here before and this is a different issue - what looks like being unfairly treated by HA. I do hope that this resolves quickly for you.

2nd day chicken, potatoes, braised carrots, neeps and skirlie all mixed up in gravy. If you haven't had skirlie before with your roast chicken folks - you need to get googling!

Chicken bones boiling up now.

Off out with doggie. She's a bit limpy having given too severe a chase to some (fast) birds so is on half rations of walks.

Pops don't dwell on the letter, if things are as you say, then they are in the wrong and you can prove it - as I said before, just make sure you get them to say what they want done in plain English and with no room for misunderstanding on either side.

There has been lots of good advice here, it would be a shame to get yourself into a lather so that you are not able to see the way forward. Decide on your course of action then think about something else nice tonight .

I am cat sitting and the cats have a few toys, the first night I went, spotted what I thought was a dead mouse on the floor, but turned out to be a realistic toy.

... second night, spotted 2 mice, thought to myself, awwwee they have found their other realistic toy mouse to play with

...mmmhhh, it does look *very* realistic :cool:
