Comet pensions query

Not sure if this is the correct forum to place this.

Just heard today that it is looking likely that Comet will go into administration next week

Now I am totally ignorant regarding pensions and wonder how this may affect me

I worked with Comet in the mid 80's for around 4 years and paid into their pension scheme. I did not transfer the pension to my new employer and there fore believe that this will have been frozen until I reach pension age, in around 15 years

If Comet do go into administartio and perhaps ultimately go into liquidation where does that leave me with regards to pesion contributions I made

Any advice would be appreciated

I would imagine the best place to start is by looking for you pension policy and contacting the pension provider direct.
