7 days working - how would you handle it

I should have seen this coming I have now been requested to work and forgo my days of next week after spending the last couple of weeks working 7 days thinking I was negociating it is really backfiring, I was really looking forward to the time of, (my bodyclock is all over the place) after I started working it transpired that everyone works 7 days at the particular company that I'm now work for, which I can't disprove or prove - I seem to be unable to set any boundaries (yeah I know I've zilch rights) I'm disappointed to be asked to work to cover someone else's time of (?), but don't want to come across rude or un-cooperative which I have a reputation for, whilst don't want to be the yes person every time that it becomes taken for granted, I've also nothing left to negociate with - eg. work 6 nights as it is, do all the early morning starts, work fully Saturday and Sunday's, have already fufilled favours to try fitting in, all because dumb employee and employer didn't have the conversation that this was a job over 7 days - it was never mentioned/wasn't on the ad until I received the first rota and felt particuarly wounded when it was a case of well you don't have children... so I feel backed into a corner, while everyone round me makes it work for them

Have you opted out of the working time directive that limits you to working a maximum of 48 hours per week?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Your post is not that clear some questions
Have you had any time off in the last 14 days?
What time do you finish at night then start next day?
It is hard to tell without being clear on the facts but it sounds like your employer is taking the proverbial."It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." :T0
