Its just a guess here but I would say anyone can run a credit check on anyone. Pay your money and get your service.

So your basically a UK resident but want to apply for credit in the south?

You may need a PPS number. Our equivalent to a National Insurance Number.

Yes im looking at this from the angle of living and working in Ireland and wondering if I did decide to make this move if I would have a better chance of getting a mortgage there.
