Any experience of Virgin Money or Chelsea Building Society

Just wondered if anyone has had recent dealings with Virgin Money or Chelsea BS as both have decent rates but it would be good to know whether they are slow/fast with processing applications? Their acceptance rate etc.

Any experience of dealing with either would be very appreciated:).

Have used Virgin very recently and they are thorough and robust in their underwriting, although keep me as a broker updated.

From your details and subject to there being no underlying credit file issues, you should be fine with either. Last time I used Chelsea and from what I see, they are not super fast...

Just gone through the application over the phone with Virgin and they can't give a decision on the phone, referred to underwriter, will get back to me hopefully tomorrow.

Is this good or bad?!

I am not sure, as we have an online system. They never just accept upfront though, so this is probably the norm on direct to them clients too...
