There is never ever a good time to lose your job but there can't be a worse time than just before christmas?
These things always seem to happen at this time of year
It does seem strange timing though, what with the "lucrative" christmas market upon us - they should be able to make plenty of profit if they have some good deals, but what do I know!
R.I.P. to yet another well-known high street name.
Not without the necessary stock...0 -
They cannot get any credit to buy stock, which is why they had to go into administration.0

Expect the remaining competition to tighten on prices now.0

Does anyone know if items already purchased will be delivered?
I am due a tumble dryer to be delivered today. Had a text to say item dispatched and dues for delivery today. Comet website is down so can't check on there.
Hoping this still comes.0 -

So are you saying that if we have a 5 year warranty for our fridge then LG will take this 5 years on themselves?0 -
One year warranties will be covered by the manufacturer, anything beyond that study your paperwork - its probably underwritten by another firm on behalf of comet.0

Dug out my paper work for extra care plan for iPad bought in August.
Seems to be through twg services,it's 4 instalments direct debited .
Will this still stand?0 -
I also bought this extra cover back in Feb 2012 (4 x £27.50 installments, and covers broken screens unlike manufacturers warranty). My Ipad screen is now broken and need to make a claim. However, can't find the paper work nor a contact number for TWGS Ltd. Do you have a contact number for them? I assume the insurance is still valid as it will have been underwritten by a different entity. Any help is appreciated!Dug out my paper work for extra care plan for iPad bought in August.
