Seems like its fast becoming a common scam, you try to get a loan, get declined, get contacted by someone posing as a legitimate company, using a legitimate company name who promise you a loan..... but you have to pay an admin fee / deposit etc.

Alarm bells ring when there asking you to pay by western union or ukash vouchers, which are notorious for being used by fraudsters.

Must be an inside man at a legitimate loan co who you applied to or were passed your details who declined you who is then passing your details onto fraudsters.

If you paid by UKash you will probably find your voucher code was used on some gambling site based outside the EU.
  • Have you looked at the terms and conditions they provide to see how you can go about getting a refund? You probably have to apply in writing, sent recorded delivery.

If you sign up to a loan broker and hand over your card details without properly checking them out (and seeing the thousands of web threads, blogs, reviews and warning sites saying that no reputable lender will ask for an up-front fee), calling the fraud squad won't help. You would have agreed to their terms by giving them your details. They will simply argue that your credit rating made it impossible for them to find you the loan you wanted.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

    Only contact numbers I can find are 0161 4065914 or 0161 4065910.

After a bit of searching, it appears there is 1 individual who is majority or sole share holder of the following companies:

City Financial (UK) Limited CRN: 06965032
    Dice Guy Limited CRN: 08084271
    North Financial Services Limited CRN:06875572
    North Mortgages Limited CRN: 05909037
    Validus Financial Limited CRN: 07564019

They all share the same registered office:
    13A Hyde Road
    Woodley
    Srockport
    Cheshire
    SK6 1QG

I suggest sending a written letter via recorded delivery demanding the return of your £65, legally I think they can with hold £5, but have read elsewhere some people have been reimbursed 100% from other simlar broker companies

The alarm bells should be ringing whenever you want to apply for a loan and somebody requests a payment up front fro providing the loan.
  • ye thanks Sean have all that info have written and contacted bank have to wait 15 days which is up Friday

Its no different to giving a Nigerian who emails you $100 to release your lottery win.

You have to be extremely careful whenever giving out your debit card details, and thoroughly research unknown companies.

When you say again, sounds like you make a habit of this.

How any more times will it take before you realise you should read the terms BEFORE entering your details?
