Generally, Aldi's Christmas lines are very good - esp the German ones like Stollen, Gluhwein (similar to mulled wine) etc0

I can't imagine wandering into a big 4 and filling my basket these days when the value stores do it so much better, for so much less.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Car Boot Queen!!
Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!0 -
Can't say I'm surprised to see F&M so low on the list. While there are some things there that I love (like the rose petal jelly) it seems mainly targeted at tourists and not foodies.
I am moving house soon and will finally be living near to an Aldi, can't wait! I get some things from my nearest Lidl now but even that isn't convenient enough for fresh food.0 -

It's the £7.99 one http://www.metroradio.co.uk/news/business/20121031-aldi-beats-fortnum-and-mason-in-taste-test/
I've had the £2.99 one before (assuming it's the same price this year) & it's lovely - very moist & tasty.0 -
I've also had the individual puds from Aldi, quite handy if you don't need to heat up a whole pudding. They were nice too."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I bought the £7.99 one last year and the year before bought the cheapy one - the only difference was the orange slice on top! I swear the cheapy one tasted just as good! Well, I shouldnt really swear to it as by the time we got to the pud I was a bit er tiddly?0
