just been back in and my local have put the prices down on the Hardys VR but restocked, yesterday a bottle of the VR was £6.79 ending up at £2.30, today it was £5.99 ending up at £2.50, still a good price so i got another 18 bottles:) shouldn't have to buy any wine til next year now

But you don't get a receipt online, or do you mean it is shown as a separate deduction when it is actually delivered and you get the bit of paper from the driver? Sorry to sound dense, I just don't want to miss out on the 25% offer.

Also, I see the maximum you can buy from the 3 for £12 range is 12 bottles, so when adding the £6 delivery charge, without the 25% it isn't so great.

My shopping arrived and I paid about £2.16 each for 18 bottles - not sure how it all worked out, but it was all meant to be 3 for £12 and they substituted some and price matched it all, and then took off the discounts. All the bottles substituted were dearer ones.

Quite pleased with the result

Arrrrrgh I'm gutted I never got more of the Ogio chardonnay when I saw it on Thursday!! I only got 3 bottles cos I'd never tried it before and didn't know if it would be nice.... opened one last night and it's lovely!! Have been into 3 massive Tesco superstores over the course of yesterday and today, and not found one single bottle anywhere would have been the best bargain ever at £1.50 a bottle!!!!

Thanks a lot for this. I got 6 bottles yesterday they 6 more today. Our local still had loads of Ogio out so I stocked up;)

I ordered mine via a normal on-line grocery shop and I pay in advance for the delivery as it makes it cheaper (so delivery would have been about £1.50). To get a next day delivery on a Saturday would normally be £6 in our area.

I ordered 18 bottles all from the 3 for £12 range. My estimate cost was showing at £70 odd pounds but with £61 savings - when the actual delivery came it was £39. Because some of the lines were out of stock they did add others and priced matched it to the £12 off. I did specifically request that the picker keeps to the 3 for £12 range if doing substitutes when I placed the order.

I have just placed an order for 36 bottles all from the 3 for £12 range - I am working on the assumption that they won't have all the ones I want.

If they substitute, do they use ones of equivalent value and not give you some cheapo £4 bottle of plonk - i.e. say it was originally £6.99, would they substitute another £6.99 bottle?

Mine were subbed, 6 were £6.99 bottles and 4 were £4.99 bottles. Bit of a gamble ordering online and not being able to pick my own but I'm happy with what i got.
