How do you know if you want to skip a comp unless you open the thread? If you do know then surely you don't need a redex box?

you can tell if you hover your mouse over the comp title/post, that way you can read the post without having to open it to click on the redx, before we had the redx we had again have to open the thread to tick thanks/enter/ whatever to track entries, this way if you don't wish to enter the comp you don't have to open it to thank/enter track entry as the redx tells you you've skipped the comp iyswim that's how i do it anyway

I don't like the new X - never thought it was needed anyhow regardless of where it was placed. It's making it harder for me to quickly glance down on threads that I have clicked on and opened, regardless of entering or not I click thanks and entered to make it easier when I need to comp by end date.

I love it! It means as I comp both ways I can see which ones I've missed!

I don't like the dark box round the X. Makes it stand out even when not selected.

I agree with Gilla. I do like the redex, but don't like the dark box around it. Would much prefer it if the box around it blended in with the background.

i love the red x on the main page, i can easily click on it and skip all of the comps i dont want to enter

I love the red x makes it so much easier for me to not miss comps, so easy to click on it. But it would be hard to please all

i've just gone back to the page where my last green tick was &
clicked on the redx on comps not interested in & was so much quicker than before when had to open the post to click on the redx, leaving more time to enter the ones wanted

I am still loving it, although I agree about getting rid of the dark square round it. I'm behind on comps at the moment ( by two weeks) as I usually enter by thread start time, so I'm entering by end date for the next day and then going back and trying to catch up so it's taking me a while longer as I'm reading titles properly rather than just skimming, but I think once I'm further up to date it will be much easier. It's already helping though, as things that I see in both lists I'm not looking at twice!
