The Online Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over at the date of their entry.

Terms and Condition of Philippines Department of Tourism Prize Competition with Magic 105.4

1. The competition is open to all UK residents, aged 18 or over on the date of entry, except for
employees of participating companies and the families of Magic and Cathay Pacific.
2. Winners should have a valid UK passport with at least six (6) months validity from the date of return from travelling to the Philippines.
3. The prize holidays are a minimum of seven days up to a maximum of ten (10) days inclusive of travel time.
4. Prizes will include international economy return tickets, domestic transfers, accommodation and breakfast for two. Additional inclusions will be specific to the itinerary of each holiday prize.
5. Winners who wish to extend the holiday will shoulder all costs relating to the extension including (but not limited to) re-booking fees for airlines, accommodation, meals and tours, visa fees, etc.
6. UK transfers, spending money and travel insurance are not included.
7. The prize holiday will be won by joining Magic 105.4 breakfast competition on air (5 holidays) and online (1 holiday).
8. Magic 105.4 will ensure that all winners (including their chosen travel mate) meets the criteria set upon by both parties before turning over to the Philippines Department of Tourism for handling of booking their holiday prize.
9. All prizes must be booked by 30 April 2013 even if the travel date is at a later period.
10. All Prizes must be redeemed within one year of the competition. International flight bookings must be made 6 months in advance.
11. All prizes are valid for one (1) year only starting from 01 January 2013 to 31 December 2013 and except the following embargo dates: 01-05 January, 8-11 February, 25-31 March, 20-31 December (DOT Embargo but Embargo dates of Airline partner will still be added to this)
12. Participants in the competition consent to take part in any publicity by the Philippines Department of Tourism.
13. Winners will be requested to take 5 best photos during their holidays and must agree to submit to the Philippines Department of Tourism for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes, online marketing campaigns including posting in PDOT’s facebook page and other media as the Philippines Department of Tourism deem fit.
14. Airport taxes are not included and incidental expenses are will be shouldered by the winner.
15. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternatives.
16. All prizes are non-exchangeable with resort/hotel partners provided by PDOT.
17. PDOT has the sole right to alter the itinerary and/or change the accommodation of the holiday package as they deem fit and should there be unavoidable circumstances.
18. Once booked and confirmed, the holiday cannot be exchanged and re-booked.
19. Contestants are bound by the above terms and conditions, rules and regulations.


Cathay Pacific Terms and Conditions

1. Each Prize is based on two return economy flights between Heathrow and one of the following destinations in the Philippines on the Cathay Pacific / Dragonair network: Manila, Cebu, Clark, with connecting flights in Hong Kong, with Cathay Pacific (including taxes, fees and charges).

2. The tickets are not redeemable for cash, non-transferrable, non-endorsable and must be used within validity.

3. Flights must be booked by 30 April 2013.

4. The tickets are valid for travel for one year from the day the prize is drawn. All travel must be completed before the expiry date.

5. Winners must travel together and book their own travel insurance and have valid passports and any necessary visas.

6. The tickets are subject to availability.

7. When contacting Cathay Pacific please provide some flexibility in your dates of travel. We may not be able to confirm your reservations on your preferred choice of dates.

8. No reservation changes are permitted after tickets have been confirmed and issued.

9. In line with the EU Directive Denied Boarding Compensation is not applicable on free of charge tickets.

10. Cathay Pacific’s conditions of carriage apply (see https://www.cathaypacific.co.uk).

11. The tickets are valid on Cathay Pacific Airways (CX) and Dragonair (KA) operated flights only.
